1. Introduction & Acceptance

Welcome to PlumbingIQ (“we”, “our”, “us”), accessible at plumbingiq.co.uk. By creating an account, browsing our website, or purchasing access to our curriculum and examination materials, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not accept these Terms in full, you must not create an account or use our educational resources.

2. Educational Disclaimer & Awarding Bodies

Our revision notes, mock examinations, and flashcards are designed to assist vocational apprentices studying UK plumbing qualifications (including 6035, 8202, 9189, and 9289 frameworks). However:

• Completing questions on PlumbingIQ does not confer official qualification status or award City & Guilds unit credits.
• While our material reflects current British Standards, Water Regulations, and Building Regulations (Approved Documents G, H, L, and P), technical standards are updated periodically. PlumbingIQ cannot guarantee that exam questions will appear verbatim on your official exam paper.
• Our material is educational and must not be used as sole on-site engineering instructions for active installations without qualified supervision.

3. Accounts & Security

To access knowledge checks and mock exams, you must register using a valid email address. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials and magic link tokens.
• Prohibition on Account Sharing: Each purchase entitles a single individual student to access the platform. Account credentials must not be shared across classrooms, employer teams, or peer groups. We reserve the right to suspend accounts demonstrating anomalous simultaneous IP activity.

4. Payments, Pricing & Refunds

4.1 One-Time Access: Access to PlumbingIQ Pro is sold as a single, one-off upfront payment. There are no recurring monthly subscription charges unless explicitly opted into for specific add-on services.

4.2 Payment Processing: Payments are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store, process, or have access to your full debit/credit card number.

4.3 Digital Content & Statutory Cooling-Off Rights: Under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you normally have a 14-day statutory right to cancel a digital purchase. However, by completing your purchase and instantly gaining access to digital educational content, mock exams, and proprietary answer keys, you explicitly consent to the immediate supply of digital content and acknowledge that you lose your statutory 14-day cancellation right once delivery begins.

4.4 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee: Notwithstanding the statutory waiver above, if you are unsatisfied with the platform, you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase in accordance with our Refund Policy.

5. Intellectual Property & Anti-Scraping

All content on PlumbingIQ—including proprietary question stems, distractors, detailed technical rationales, curriculum structures, user interface code, and brand marks—is the intellectual property of PlumbingIQ or its licensors and is protected under UK and international copyright laws.

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view and complete tests for individual study purposes. You agree that you will not:

• Reproduce, duplicate, copy, or redistribute our question bank or flashcards.
• Use automated scrapers, web-crawlers, bots, or extraction scripts to harvest content from the platform.
• Repackage, sell, or publish our mock exam questions in course materials or external websites.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by English law:

• PlumbingIQ and its operators are not liable for any student examination failure, delay in qualification completion, loss of apprentice wages, or academic outcomes.
• PlumbingIQ is not liable for any physical damage, injury, regulatory non-compliance, or property loss resulting from practical plumbing or heating work conducted on site based on interpretations of our revision content.
• Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of your use of the platform shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for platform access in the preceding 12 months.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms or the use of PlumbingIQ shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
